The R101C gateway allows for the connection of up to 31 R2600/R2601 compact controllers to the INTERBUS S, after they have been interlinked with the integrated RS 485 bus. Decentrally installed closed-loop control circuits with autonomous display and operating functions can thus be configured and visualized from a central point.

In combination with the gateway, the controllers are transformed into true INTERBUS S users. Data which are exchanged amongst the INTERBUS S master and the controllers are converted into the required format for each of the respective devices. This makes it possible to read out control and events data in a cyclical fashion, to read and write controller parameters and to generate data lists and query them cyclically.
