Digital control - analog operation, all of the parameters can be configured by simply turning a knob. Especially positive feedback is coming in from typical machinery and device manufacturing applications.
The single channel temperature controller with high performance PDPI algorithms and self-optimization has a wide range of functions, even in the standard version. Large numbers of different models are thus avoided, inventory costs are reduced and servicing is simplified.
The following functions can be activated or changed by means of software or DIP switch settings:
- Digital displays for actual value and setpoint / regulated temperature / heating current
- Manual key operation
- Relay or transistor output
- Alternate setpoint with external activation
- Rising or falling setpoint slope
- Regulated temperature is utilized if sensor malfunctions
- Heating circuit and heating current monitoring
- Two limit contacts for absolute / relative monitoring, start-up inhibiting, make / break contact
- Can be adapted for export markets, i.e. 230 V / 110V and degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit
The controller is equipped with the following characteristics depending upon the ordered configuration:
- Two position, three position, step-action and continuous-action controller
- Differential and slave controller with second input
- Sensor input for thermocouple types J, L, K, B, S, R, N and PT100 (2/3-wire) or 0/2 to 10 V and 0/4 to 20 mA standard signals
- RS232 / RS485 communications interface
- Auxiliary voltage: 24 VAC , 24 VDC, 110 VAC / 230 VAC
