(METRAwin 90 calibration software is included with the CP1 and CP2 calibrator packs. It simplifies the setting of parameters for the METRA Hit 18C calibrator via PC, and provides for the trouble-free generation of test procedures and printed test reports.)
The CP2 calibrator pack offers a custom tailored solution for periodic calibration as required by ISO 9001, paragraph 11.4, for process control components (measuring transducers, recorder amplifiers, isolation and buffer amplifiers): data uploaded via METRAwin 90 software from the PC to the multifunction METRAHit 18C hand-held calibrator are transmitted as a calibration signal to the device to be calibrated (e.g. temperature transducer), are acquired at the output side of the METRAHit 18S and are returned as an infrared signal to the PC via the SI232 adapter.
The PC enters the data in tabular form, calculates deviation from the set-point (absolute and relative error) and evaluates them in comparison to manufacturer data. If a test procedure is available, the calibration system takes care of everything else right on up to printing of the calibration certificate in a matter of seconds!
