SIRAX B 811
The SIRAX B 811 power supply provides 2-wire measuring transducers with DC power and forwards the measuring signal at a ratio of 1:1 to the measurement output in an electrically isolated fashion. Conversion to other signal ranges is also possible, for example 0...5 mA or 1 to 5 V (signal transducer). Certain variations of the SIRAX B 811 are FSK compatible. They are used with interactive «intelligent» 2-wire measuring transducers with FSK technology and HART or company specific protocols. Variants with explosion protection type [EEx ia] IIC «intrinsic safety» with intrinsically safe measuring/supply circuit supplement this series of instruments. They can be used together with intrinsically safe 2-wire measuring transducers which have been installed within explosive atmospheres. The measuring/supply circuit can be monitored for cable breakage and short-circuit. If a malfunction occurs, the error is signaled by means of an AF error relay and the red LED display. Output quantities A1 and A12 can also be configured for linear, rising or falling performance characteristics by means of DIP switches. The instrument fulfills all important requirements and regulations concerning electromagnetic compatibility and safe isolation (IEC 1010 and EN 61 010). The device has been developed, manufactured and tested in accordance with ISO 9001. Recognition of QA production in accordance with guideline 94/9/EG has also been awarded.
